CIT Program for Camp Conrad Weiser


Our Counselor-In-Training program, is a 4-week camp for those campers who have completed the 10th grade. The CIT program is a training program which includes several components of leadership. The CIT’s work together on projects, help in program and cabin areas, enjoy an off camp trip as a group, and receive training to help them develop as individuals and become future counselors.

Leaders in Training

LIT Program for Bynden Wood Day Camp

The Leaders-In-Training program is for campers age 14, who want to learn about leadership and responsibility. This program provides the older campers skills for life and leadership through the camp setting. The training will also focus on the YMCA four core values (caring, honesty, respect, responsibility) in a leadership roll. The goal of the LIT program is to have the campers feeling comfortable taking on responsibility at camp and in the community.
