Women’s Wellness Weekend
September 24-26, 2010
REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!
Join us for a weekend of food, fun and
fellowship on the mountain. Open to women ages 18 and BETTER!
Activities include wellness workshops, yoga, chair massage,
horses and other “camp-tivities”. Choose to stay the full
weekend or come for Saturday only. Financial aid is available.

SOUTH MOUNTAIN SADDLES: A
Trail Ride FUN-draiser
October 17, 2010
Help send kids to camp! Come ride one of our horses or
BRING YOUR OWN for a two-hour trail ride were you can enjoy a
panoramic view of the Reading skyline at our peak and see the
beautiful fall colors in full force on the mountain. A cookout
lunch and silent auction are also planned. Rain date: October 24th.

Mother/Daughter Equestrian
Experience
October 22-24, 2010
Come be ‘barn bums’ for a weekend at our first annual Mother and
Daughter Equestrian Experience. Whether you’ve never ridden
before or have horses of your own at home, you’ll enjoy spending
time with other mothers and daughters with a love for all things
‘horsey’. Rotate through numerous sessions where you can improve
your riding skills in an arena lesson, experience nature on a
trail ride, learn about tack and horse husbandry, create
equine-inspired crafts, and much more! Daughters must be at
least 8 years of age to participate in the riding lessons &
trail rides. Beginners of all ages welcomed! More

A World Apart – A Weekend
Together
October 29-31, 2010
A FREE program for post-deployment military families! Bring the
whole gang for a fun fall get-away. The American Red Cross,
Berks County Chapter and South Mountain YMCA invites local
military families to a free weekend retreat designed to provide
educational, recreational and relaxation activities. Call for

Halloween-themed fun! Enjoy pumpkin painting, the climbing wall,
face painting, archery, s’mores, pony rides, a costume contest
and more… Event runs rain or shine!
